Tibs is a Resource Partner with Georgia Power. Together, Tibs and Georgia Power work on numerous projects providing backup generators for President George W. Bush's G8 Summit at Sea Island Georgia. Other joint projects include work for Coca Cola, Hormel, Duke-Weeks, Siemens, and Bristol Pipe.

Associations

Tibs' parent company, M.C.DEAN, Inc., is a member of the U. S. Green Building Council (USGBC), a a non-profit organization committed to expanding sustainable building practices. USGBC is composed of more than 12,000 organizations from across the building industry that are working to advance structures that are environmentally responsible, profitable, and healthy places to live and work.

Tibs is a leading member in the IEC (Independent Electrical Contractors Association). In fact, our President/General Manager was named Member of the Year for the IEC Atlanta chapter and a Tibs employee captured the organizations top Apprentice of the Year honors two years in a row.

BICSI is a not-for-profit professional association dedicated to serving the telecommunications industry with standards-based technical publications, training, registration exams, and educational events. BICSI's mission is to enhance the telecommunications industry by providing excellent education, promoting skill sharing, and assessing knowledge with professional registration programs. 

Tibs is an affiliate of NETA (the International Electrical Testing Association) which is an accredited standards developer for the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). NETA defines the standards by which electrical equipment is deemed safe and reliable, and NETA Certified Technicians conduct the tests that ensure that electrical equipment meets the association's stringent specifications.

Founded in 1970, BOMA (Building Owners and Managers Institute) was established to provide professional curriculum to office building professionals. BOMA offers continuing education programs in a variety of current industry topics. Tibs is an active member in BOMA and participates in the organization's yearly Atlanta Expo.
