ATLANTA, December 1, 2004 --- Tibs Group, a 30-year-old Atlanta area company that specializes in critical power, technology, power quality and security services, announced today that the company had been acquired by M. C. Dean, Inc., of Dulles, Va.

M. C. Dean, a private company that has grown from 400 employees to over 1,200 employees in the past five years, is a leader in the design, installation, and integration of complex power, electronics, homeland security and telecommunications.

The Tibs Group will operate as a division of M. C. Dean, Inc., with Tibs' CEO and President Mark Tibbetts serving as President/General Manager of the division, according to Bill Dean, President and CEO of M. C. Dean, Inc.
